I freaking devoured this book. This is an amazing series that I don't want to end but can't help wanting the next book like frecking yesterday. I am so hooked on this story I HATE that I have to WAIT now for next installment.
I just freaking love Sylvie she is an awesome character. I have laughed out loud with her, cried with her and gotten so frecking ticked off for her too. She has really put up with a lot of crap all the way around and it breaks my heart. I mean you get so lost in these characters and their circumstances that you feel every emotion and that ladies is a brilliantly written story. And hands down that is what this author has done for this avid reader.
Jamison "Jam" is a god in the rock world but also a very frustrating person. I just want to slap him. He has had his good moments but for me so far the bad outweighs the good. He has a lot to make for my readers mind.
So in saying all this not going to give everything away you as a reader need to check this abso-freaking-lutely amazingly awesome read!

I love Jamison, I hate Jamison! The sign of a great book is to evoke strong feelings, and this book certainly does. I loved all of the characters, such a great job of writing in this book! Highly recommended!
I was sucked into this book and lived it until it's heart wrenching end. I was so enthralled I read straight through... almost 24 hours worth!! Now I'll be diving into the next volume and hopefully a happy ending.
I rarely leave reviews but R. Gadd, you are an amazing author! I loved this series because of the character development. I adore nothing more then feeling totally invested in not only the main characters but also the supporting ones as well. I truly could have kept on reading this series and almost cried when it finally concluded. And I LOVE a long book...hate these 200 pages books that take me like 3 hours to read. I want a saga and she delivered. I’m looking forward to reading more from this author!
Okay, it's still getting 5 because I can't think of any other book that has made me so infuriated, as well as happy, sad, swoony, sexy and a multitude of other emotions. It also helps that I can pick up the next book immediately, which I will be doing as soon as I finish typing this. Jamison is an excruciatingly real kind of rockstar, and Sylvie is probably even more excruciatingly real as a heroine. I have been promising myself not to go into any personal tirades as I read the stupidity these two have found themselves in, but I can't say that I don't get it because I have been there. Honestly, this book is shredding me, but I am counting on Ms Gadd to fix it in the 3rd book. I guess you can check back tomorrow to see if my survived the action. As of right now, the need to know and the endless optimism I seem to hold onto are keeping this series as a first favorite of 2018. I will let you know for sure how I feel after I get through Broken Chords, which I need to start NOW....
Spent… that’s exactly how I feel right now after just finishing on one of the best rock romances I’ve ever read. Being a absolutely huge rock romance fan and reading everyone I can get my hands on I have to say that this series is in my top 5 of all time. Ms. Gadd has taken me on one h*ll of a rollercoaster ride of emotions love and hate, heartfelt and heartbreak, hope and devastation. I think you get the drift

I’ve grown to love all of the people in this book. It’s not just Jamison and Sylvie; its Brett and Nancy, Vinny and Veronica, Ben and Lucy that have all wormed their way into my heart. Ms. Gadd writes with powerful words that know how to get to your heart on one page and will in another page make you roll with laughter.

I highly recommend this book…this series and can’t be thankful enough for an author that knows how to put words that will make your heart bleed but still have you hanging on to hope. I am only thankful that I don’t have to wait to read Twelve Months-Broken Cord because I need to put my heart at rest and only hope that there will be a HEA for all of the people I have come to love.
